It’s time for a makeup haul!!
I love a good makeup haul. And it’s been a hot second since I last bought a lot of makeup products. Recently, I’ve just been replacing my products as they run out.
But I finally decided to treat myself and honestly, I love that for me.
I picked up a few things from here and there, including e.l.f. Cosmetics during their recent sale, and Sephora due to a gift card I received. I’m super excited to share all these new goodies with you.
Keep reading to find out what I picked up!
Sephora Makeup Haul

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum
- Vegan
- Cruelty-Free
- Gluten-Free
Do you have dry skin? Yeah, me too.
This serum has become a staple in my skincare routine for this very reason. I’m a dry skin girlie through and through. No matter what I do, it seems that my skin is always dry.
The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid + Hydrating Serum is great for a variety of skin types including normal, oily, combination, dry, and sensitive… In other words, it’s made for anyone and everyone!
This serum packs a seriously moisturizing punch, as evidenced by the name. For this reason, the serum is designed to tackle dryness which I have in abundance. Since implementing this bad boy into my routine, I’ve noticed my skin is softer and glowing!
The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + HA
- Vegan
- Cruelty-Free
- Gluten-Free
I’ve wanted to try out The Ordinary products for quite some time now, after trying out their haircare products a few months ago. The first product that stood out to me in their line was the Lactic Acid.
The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid helps to diminish fine lines and wrinkles, as well as combat dullness and uneven texture. Being in my mid-twenties, my primary concern right now is dullness, with a spot of uneven texture.
I’m a bit nervous about this product if I’m honest lol. I still haven’t tried it yet! It’s a mild exfoliator designed for normal skin types. But it can be a bit tricky for sensitive skin.
It’s recommended that you start out with the 5% option to test how your skin reacts before diving headfirst into the 10% option. This is especially true if you have sensitive skin, like me. Always remember that everyone’s skin. is different and that you might be more sensitive to some products than others!
The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution
- Vegan
- Cruelty-Free
- Gluten-Free
When I was a teen, I had about 2 pimples total. I survived my adolescence by using a green apple scented face wash and a Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (the OGs will remember).
Now, my luck has run out and I suffer from occasional adult acne. Despite being more attentive to my skin now than as a teen, my skin’s actively worse. Go figure, right?
The Ordinary’s Salicylic Acid is designed to target acne breakouts and control blemishes. It acts by removing dead skin cells to clear up your skin and alleviate nasty clogged pores. This one’s great for anyone with normal, combination, or oily skin.
Best of all, you can use it all over your face for acne or just in specific spots if you’re trying to target and treat.

Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm (Orchid)
- Vegan
- Cruelty-Free
- Gluten-Free
I’ll admit it. I’ve been influenced.
I’m not typically one to buy makeup products from the influencers I watch, mainly because I’m broke lol. But my all time fav TikTok beauty influencer, Mikayla Nogueira raved about Tarte’s Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm and I had to try it.
This gloss lip balm comes in a really cool package, where you pop off the lid and press a button at the bottom to raise the product. I picked up the lip balm in the shade “Orchid” which is a flattering and pretty mauve pink.
It’s infused with 3 key ingredients: Maracuja Oil, Grapeseed Oil, and Goji. These ingredients help firm and moisturize, and contain anti-aging properties as well as help collagen production. In short, they help to treat your lips while also making them look plump and glossy!

First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub
- Vegan
- Cruelty-Free
- Gluten-Free
Another product that TikTok convinced me to buy was the First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub. For years, I’ve struggled with Keratosis Pillaris, or KP.
If you don’t know what KP is, essentially it’s a chronic skin condition that leaves teeny bumps on your skin where there’s hair follicles. They aren’t typically painful or uncomfortable, but can be annoying, dry, and rough.
While it’s a totally harmless and even quite common, KP irritates the hell out of me and always has. So I was very excited to give this product a try!
The Bump Eraser is an exfoliating body scrub designed for those who suffer from KP. It contains little buffing beads as well as acids such as glycolic and lactic acid. These ingredients work together to remove those annoying little bumps.
I’ve tried it once so far in the shower and in just one use, I noticed minor results. I can’t wait to see the progress over time!
Drugstore Makeup Haul

e.l.f. Cosmetics Ride or Die Tinted Lip Balm (Tough Cookie)
- Vegan
- Cruelty-Free
- Gluten-Free
If you suffer from chapped lips like me, you have my most sincere apologies. I swear I came into this world with chapped lips and never were they moisturized again. I don’t know how but no matter what I do, these lips will always be dry and flaky.
That being said, I consider myself a connoisseur of lip balm products. And e.l.f. is always a go-to for me.
The e.l.f. Cosmetics Ride or Die Tinted Lip Balm is the perfect product to toss in your handbag, pocket, or backpack before hitting the road on your summer adventures. Infused with Jojoba Oil, it has major hydrating properties that are a lifesaver for chapped lip sufferers (like myself!)
While I’ve used tinted lip balms, I’ve never tried one in a squeeze tube before. But I quite like this product! The formula is very smooth and thick, without being sticky. It adds a very subtle but pretty shade to the lips, giving you a hint of colour without being too overpowering.
I picked up the shade “Tough Cookie” which is a pink-brown shade. Best of all, this one has a wonderful brown sugar cookie scent that’s divine.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty Cream Blush (Turks and Caicos)
- Vegan
- Cruelty-Free
- Gluten-Free
I’ve been a user—and big-time fan—of the e.l.f. Putty Primer for quite some time. So, when I saw that they also offer a blush in a putty, I obviously had to try it!
The Putty Cream Blush is a fan favourite product for good reason. It’s a highly pigmented cream product and an absolute must for summer. I’m trying to bring in more cream-based products to my summer repertoire and this certainly fits the bill.
On top of being a very blendable and buildable formula, the Putty Cream Blush contains Argan Oil and Vitamin E which are both very hydrating!
I decided to try out the colour “Turks and Caicos” which is a warm, coral shade that’s the perfect pop on tanned skin. Now, I just need to get tanned skin lol.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty Primer Blush and Applicator
- Vegan
- Cruelty-Free
- Gluten-Free
After adding the Putty Cream Blush to my cart, I noticed that e.l.f. also sells a Putty Primer Brush and Applicator. Immediately, my interest was piqued!
As I said, I’ve used Putty Primer for quite some time and my only complaint about the product is having to scoop it out with my fingers. I typically use the front of my nail to get the product out without a mess, but I just don’t find it super practical.
So, having this Blush and Applicator duo is amazing! One end has a scoop which allows you to remove the putty from the container and the other has a brush for application. However, I’ve also found that the brush is the perfect size and tool for the Putty Cream Blush!
It’s a small brush to boot which makes it the perfect travel companion—and no hassle to store at home either!

e.l.f. Cosmetics Sheer Slick Lipstick (Black Cherry)
- Vegan
- Cruelty-Free
- Gluten-Free
Everyone and their mother raved about Clinique’s “Black Honey” awhile ago on TikTok. When I saw the lipstick, I knew it would be right up my alley. But alas, the lipstick and all of its dupes were sold out for ages.
Until now! Finally, I got my hands on the e.l.f. dupe for the Clinique bestseller. The Sheer Slick Lipstick is absolutely so beautiful and widely flattering.
It’s a gorgeous sheen, subtle colour that applies so easily. And it contains Meadowfoam Seed Oil and Vitamin E to nourish, hydrate, and soothe chapped and sore lips!
If you’re looking for a lipstick that isn’t full coverage but adds a beautiful tint (like biting into a cherry!), then the Sheer Slick Lipstick is for you.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation (Light/Fair)
- Vegan
- Cruelty-Free
- Gluten-Free
Finally, I caved. I gave up on the idea that full coverage foundation is the only thing that will make my skin look glowy and pretty. Damn you, 2016 for making me think that thick, matte foundation is the only option!
Anyways, this is my dramatic way of saying that I decided to try out a lightweight foundation! The Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation leaves you with beautiful dewy skin without being heavy on your skin.
It’s a light, sheer coverage formula that smoothes out your complexion and leaves you with illuminated skin. It’s a great alternative for your full coverage foundation during the summer. I picked up this product in the shade “Light/Fair” which is quite a close match for my skin. I can’t express how hard it is to colour match to the tones of my skin lmao.
Best of all, it’s made with coconut milk and aloe extract which actually soothes and moisturizes! I’m officially converted. Who would have thought?
Are any of these products on your wishlist? Let me know down in the comments!
